Isabelle Shively - Development Director
Isabelle joined PeaceTrees Vietnam as Development Director in February 2024. Before PeaceTrees, she served in a variety of nonprofit development and communication roles with Washington Women’s Foundation, Sahar Education, and the Jesuit Refugee Service.
In addition to her professional work, Isabelle finds joy in making (and eating!) good food, spending time with her family and spouse, and caring for her two cats – Kango and Wilma. She is passionate about community-based development and the many ways in which PeaceTrees fosters peace, healing, and reconciliation between Vietnam and the United States.
Isabelle grew up just outside of Seattle and spent much of her young adulthood in New Delhi, India and Vicenza/Rome, Italy. She holds a B.A. in International Studies from Loyola University Chicago and an M.S. in International Public Service from DePaul University.
