Kimberly Hoàng - Citizen Diplomacy Manager
Kimberly is a second-generation Vietnamese American with roots in the Pacific Northwest. Her professional and volunteer experience related to Vietnam include her roles with Family Health International (FHI) 360, Mobility Outreach International, the Vietnam Public Health Association, and the Vietnam Journal of Public Health.
Her Bachelor of Arts degree is in French and International Studies with a concentration in Global Health from the University of Washington. She also earned a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. During her graduate studies she focused much of her academics on Vietnam. She also lived and worked in Hanoi when she was a student.
Prior to PeaceTrees she worked in the community with refugee, immigrant, and asylum-seeking populations in early childhood development and education as well as family homelessness.
