Inaugural Gold Star Family Trip
Honoring Lt. Daniel Cheney 50 Years Later
In December 2018, a group of Citizen Diplomats being led by PeaceTrees co-founder, Jerilyn Brusseau, departed for Vietnam with a mission of honoring the life of Lt. Daniel Cheney on the 50th anniversary of his passing. Jerilyn, Lt. Cheney's sister, and Gail Garcelon, Lt. Cheney's fiance at the time of his service, were surrounded by friends and family as they embarked on this meaningful journey.
